Design Love: How to Build a Room

Hey y'all.  We've put together a little movie to show you how to design a room. 

First, start with the key peices that will anchor the room.  Pick a couch you love, and add peices around that.  A comfortable occasional chair, a functional console, and a gorgeous side table.  Be simple in your choice of materials.  Repetition can make your choices look purposeful.  

Next, your art will determine the direction of the room.  Consider style and colour.   What are you trying to say with your room?  How does the art make you feel?

Finally, layer accessories to create a full, eclectic look.  Add some cool vintage peices, with fresh flowers, beautiful design books, and a mixture of vases.  Et voila, a beautifully designed room, that is comfortable to live in, and beautiful to look at.
